Bryce and Shaq

Mike took Bryce to the LSU basketball game today. They saw Shaquille O'Neal and Tyrus Thomas (one of my former students) coming out of the locker room. Both of them agreed to take pictures with Bryce. Here's the one with Shaq. Mike took it with his phone, so it's not a good picture.

I talked Blaine into getting a desk for the living room. Now I have some work space. My laptop fits perfectly on the keyboard shelf when I'm not using it.

Blaine installed shelves in the laundry room so we would have some storage space. You can't see it, but there is another shelf on the other wall above the freezer.

My "office"

February 3, 2008
We don't have room for a desk in our living room or in our bedroom, so the computer is in an armoire in the bedroom. It sucks. To use this computer, I have to sit on the floor to work. I do have a laptop, which I use most of the time at the kitchen table. In my next house, I will have an office with a regular desk!

Finally a freezer!

Today we bought an upright freezer to keep in the laundry room. I can finally start freezing left overs for Blaine to take to the fire station. Also, I'll have room for deer meat and fish!

Work, and more work. I'm teaching Huckleberry Finn in my English III classes right now. The other one is my textbook for grad school.
